WEATHERFORD

This is my eighth year as a counselor at Weatherford High School, and my second year as the Junior/Senior counselor.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Abilene Christian University and my Master’s Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in School Counseling. My career in education began by teaching middle school Spanish and then high school Spanish. I was the 9^th & 10^th grade counselor at WHS for six years and I am now enjoying working with 11^th and 12^th grade students—especially since I already knew these students during their freshman year! We are all learning a lot this year—especiallly about preparing for life after high school, since this exciting event is close on the horizon for Juniors and Seniors.   I love my job as a school counselor and hope my students will let me know how I can help them.
